Comparison review
Huawei Mate X2 is a little bit better than the Galaxy A71, having an 89.1 score against 87.5. Huawei Mate X2's construction is newer than Galaxy A71's, but it's heavier and just a bit thicker. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate X2 has the older 10 version while Galaxy A71 has Android 11.
The Huawei Mate X2 counts with a little sharper display than Galaxy A71, because it has a bigger display, a much higher 2200 x 2480 resolution and a little bit greater display pixel density. Samsung Galaxy A71 features a bit bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that allows up to 512 GB.
Huawei Mate X2 features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A71, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate X2 also has more RAM. Huawei Mate X2's battery performance is just as good as the battery life in Samsung Galaxy A71. Galaxy A71 shoots a bit better photos and videos than Huawei Mate X2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy A71 also has a bigger diafragm aperture and a much better 64 mega pixels resolution back facing camera.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy A71, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy A71. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Huawei Mate X2, else you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy A71, letting go some specs and features.
