Comparison review

The Galaxy A71 is slightly better than the LG G8X ThinQ, getting a score of 87.5 against 82.7. Galaxy A71 is a just a little bit lighter and a little bit thinner cellphone than LG G8X ThinQ, even when both of them were only released 3 months apart. These phones have Android OS, but the Galaxy A71 has a newer 11 version and LG G8X ThinQ has Android 10, so it provides a couple nice extra features and increased performance.

The LG G8X ThinQ features a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy A71. They have the same number of cores and a 6 GB RAM memory. LG G8X ThinQ features a little sharper screen than Galaxy A71, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340, it also counts with a bit higher pixels density.

LG G8X ThinQ features a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A71, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the LG G8X ThinQ also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. Samsung Galaxy A71 features a way better camera than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a same size camera aperture, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also counts with a back-facing camera with a way higher resolution and a lot bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.

Galaxy A71 features a bit longer battery performance than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.

Although Samsung Galaxy A71 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG G8X ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G8X ThinQ. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy A71, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the LG G8X ThinQ, giving up a couple specifications.
