Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A71 is better than the Microsoft Surface Duo, with a general score of 87.5 against 78.8. These phones use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy A71 has a more recent 11 version and Microsoft Surface Duo has Android 10 version, providing you lots of additional features and enhanced performance. Even though the Samsung Galaxy A71 and the Microsoft Surface Duo were only released with a couple of months difference, the Samsung Galaxy A71 design is notably lighter but thicker.
The Microsoft Surface Duo features a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A71. Both have a 6 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processor. Microsoft Surface Duo features just a bit better looking display than Galaxy A71, because it has a larger screen, a better resolution of 1800 x 2700 and a bit greater screen pixel density.
Galaxy A71 shoots greater photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Galaxy A71 also counts with a camera with a way higher resolution and a larger aperture to capture better photography and videos in low-light situations.
The Galaxy A71 has a superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Microsoft Surface Duo, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Galaxy A71 also has an external memory slot that admits up to 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy A71 has better battery duration than Microsoft Surface Duo, because it has a 26% larger battery capacity.
Even being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, the Samsung Galaxy A71 is also by far the cheapest one.
