Comparison review
The Galaxy A71 is a bit better than the Galaxy A31, with an 87.5 score against 81.3. Galaxy A71 is a a little lighter and somewhat thinner cellphone than Galaxy A31, even though both were released with only a couple months difference. Both phones we compare here come with Android OS, but the Galaxy A71 has the newer 11 version while Galaxy A31 has Android 10 version, so it gives you a couple additional features and performance tweaks.
The Galaxy A31 counts with a bit better screen than Galaxy A71, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, the Galaxy A31 also counts with a little higher pixel density. Galaxy A71 has a very superior memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy A31, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 512 GB, the Galaxy A71 also has 64 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 features a bit better processing unit than Galaxy A31, and although they both have 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Galaxy A31 counts with just a little bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A71, because it has an 11% greater battery size.
Galaxy A71 captures much better photos and videos than Galaxy A31, because it has a bigger camera sensor capturing higher quality pictures, a lot higher (4K) video definition, a lot more megapixels back-facing camera and a larger diafragm aperture for better low-light photography and videos.
