Galaxy A71 has a score of 87.5, which is much better than the Galaxy A5 (2017)'s general score of 75.8. Even though the Galaxy A71 is heavier than the Galaxy A5 (2017), it's a bit thinner and much newer. The Galaxy A71 features a bit better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy A71 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Galaxy A5 (2017) features a bit better looking display than Galaxy A71, because although it has a bit worse 1080 x 1920px resolution and a much smaller display, it also counts with a just a little greater pixel count per inch in the screen. Galaxy A71 has a way bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB and 96 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Galaxy A71 counts with a lot better camera than Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has a much better 3840x2160 video resolution, a lot higher resolution back camera and a larger aperture to take better captures and video in poorly lited situations.
