Samsung Galaxy A71 is a bit better than Galaxy A50, having a general score of 87.5 against 83.8. The Samsung Galaxy A71 is a just a little heavier device than the Galaxy A50, but both have the same thickness. The Galaxy A50 counts with a bit sharper screen than Galaxy A71, because although it has a little bit lower 1080 x 2340px resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a just a little greater pixel quantity per inch of display.

Samsung Galaxy A71 and Samsung Galaxy A50 have similar memory for applications and games, both have the same 128 GB internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A71 count with quite similar processing units, and although the Samsung Galaxy A50 has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.

The Galaxy A71 has just a bit better battery duration than Galaxy A50, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity. Samsung Galaxy A71 captures much better pictures and videos than Galaxy A50, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for capturing photos or video in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a much larger back-facing camera sensor which offers a lot higher photo and video quality, a much better video definition and a much more megapixels camera.

Although Samsung Galaxy A71 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy A50, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy A50. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy A71, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Galaxy A50, letting go a couple features and specifications.
