Comparison review
The Galaxy A71 has a score of 87.5, which is much better than Galaxy C5's 76.4 general score. The Galaxy A71 body is newer, but a lot heavier and somewhat thicker than the Galaxy C5. These phones have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy A71 has the previous 11 version and Galaxy C5 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Samsung Galaxy C5 and Samsung Galaxy A71 have really similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy C5 has a really smaller screen and a bit worse 1080 x 1920px resolution, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of display. The Samsung Galaxy A71 features a bit superior processor than Galaxy C5, and although they both have 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has 2 GB more RAM.
The Galaxy A71 features a very superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy C5, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB and more internal memory capacity. Galaxy A71 shoots a lot better photographs and videos than Galaxy C5, because it has a bigger aperture for better low light photography and video, a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a camera in the back with much more megapixels.
The Galaxy A71 has a very superior battery duration than Galaxy C5, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
