Comparison review
Galaxy A71 has a general score of 87.5, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy M40's score of 85. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A71 has the newer 11 version and Samsung Galaxy M40 has Android 10 version, so it provides you a couple nice extra features. Galaxy A71's design is a bit heavier but a little thinner than the Samsung Galaxy M40, and they were only released with a few months difference.
Samsung Galaxy A71 counts with just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy M40. Both have a 6 GB RAM and the same number of cores. The Galaxy M40 counts with a little bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A71, because although it has a bit smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, it also counts with a little bit greater pixels amount per inch in the display.
The Galaxy M40 features as much memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos as the Galaxy A71, both have a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB and the same internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy A71 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also counts with a lot larger back camera sensor shooting lot better quality videos and pictures and a camera with a way better 64 mega-pixels resolution.
The Galaxy A71 counts with better battery lifetime than Galaxy M40, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
