Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy S20 is a bit better than the Galaxy A71, with a 94.8 score against 87.5. The Samsung Galaxy S20 body is a bit lighter but just a bit thicker than the Galaxy A71, and both of them were released only a couple months apart. Both phones in our current comparison use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy S20 has 13 version and Galaxy A71 has Android 11 version.

Galaxy S20 has just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy A71, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S20 also has a higher amount of RAM. Galaxy S20 has a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A71, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 3200 and a better pixels amount in each inch in the screen.

Galaxy S20 counts with a little bit more memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy A71, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy S20 also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. Samsung Galaxy A71 features just a bit longer battery life than Galaxy S20, because it has a 13 percent more battery size.

Galaxy A71 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S20, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the same camera sensor size and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Galaxy A71 also has a way higher resolution camera and higher 30 frames per second video frame rate.

Although Galaxy S20 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy A71, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy A71. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy S20, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy A71, letting go a couple features and specs.
