Galaxy S21 is a bit better than the Galaxy A71, getting a 91.8 score against 87.5. Both of these phones come with the same Android 11 OS. The Galaxy S21 construction is newer and just a little lighter, but a little thicker than Galaxy A71. The Galaxy S21 features a sharper display than Galaxy A71, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2400px resolution, the Galaxy S21 also counts with a little bit greater display density.

The Galaxy A71 counts with a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy S21, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory, the Galaxy A71 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy S21 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A71, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S21 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.

The Galaxy A71 has a little longer battery duration than Galaxy S21, because it has a 13 percent more battery capacity. Samsung Galaxy A71 shoots much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S21, and although they both have a same size aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has a bigger sensor providing a better image quality, faster video frame rates and a camera in the back with way more mega-pixels.

Although Samsung Galaxy S21 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy A71, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy A71. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S21, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy A71, giving up some features and specs.
