Galaxy S21 Ultra has a general score of 98.1, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy A71's 87.5 score. Even though the Galaxy S21 Ultra is newer than Samsung Galaxy A71, it is somewhat thicker and noticeably heavier. These devices have the same Android 11 OS (operating system). Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra counts with a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A71, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Galaxy S21 Ultra counts with a lot better looking display than Galaxy A71, because it has a higher 1440 x 3200 resolution, a bit larger screen and more pixels per inch in the display. The Galaxy A71 has a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S21 Ultra, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A71 also has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra shoots much better pictures and videos than Galaxy A71, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra also has a much higher video quality, a way higher 108 megapixels resolution back camera and a much bigger camera sensor shooting way better quality pictures and videos.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra features just a little bit longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy A71, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.
Although Galaxy S21 Ultra is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy A71, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy A71. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy S21 Ultra, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy A71, giving up a couple specifications.
