Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A71 is slightly better than Sony Xperia 5 II, having an 87.5 score against 87.2. Samsung Galaxy A71's design is just a little bit heavier but a little bit thinner than Sony Xperia 5 II, and both were released with only a few months difference. The Xperia 5 II has a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A71, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia 5 II also has more RAM.
The Sony Xperia 5 II features a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A71, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2520 resolution and a little better amount of pixels in each display inch. Samsung Galaxy A71 features a better camera than Sony Xperia 5 II, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rates and a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for capturing photos or video in low light situations, and they both have a 0.59 inches sensor and the same video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also counts with a lot more mega-pixels back-facing camera.
The Xperia 5 II features just a bit bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A71, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Xperia 5 II also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB. Galaxy A71 features just a bit better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 5 II, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Even being the best phone in our current comparison, the Samsung Galaxy A71 is also very cheap compared to the other phones, making it an obvious call.
