The Xperia PRO-I has an overall score of 96.3, which is better than the Samsung Galaxy A71's score of 87.5. Although Xperia PRO-I is newer than Samsung Galaxy A71, it's heavier and thicker. Both devices we are comparing here have the same Android 11 OS. Xperia PRO-I has a better looking display than Galaxy A71, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels and a lot higher count of pixels per inch in the screen.
The Sony Xperia PRO-I counts with much more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A71, because it has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB and 512 GB internal storage capacity. Xperia PRO-I has just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A71, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xperia PRO-I also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Sony Xperia PRO-I and Galaxy A71 feature quite similar battery performance. Galaxy A71 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Xperia PRO-I, because although it has worse video frame rates, and they both have the same video definition, the Galaxy A71 also counts with a larger aperture to capture better low-light photography and videos, a lot more MP back camera and a way larger sensor.
