The Samsung Galaxy A71 has an overall score of 87.5, which is much better than the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact's 79 overall score. These phones come with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy A71 has the previous 11 version and Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has Android 8.0 Oreo. Although the Samsung Galaxy A71 is a little bit heavier than the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, it's a lot thinner and also newer.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A71, although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy A71, because although it has a way smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2160px, it also counts with a quite higher amount of pixels per inch of screen.
