Comparison review
The Galaxy A71 is slightly better than Xperia Z5 Premium, getting an 87.5 score against 79.8. Both phones we compare here include Android operating system, but Galaxy A71 has a more recent 11 version and Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1, so it counts with a couple additional features. Galaxy A71's construction is much newer, a little bit thinner and a bit lighter than the Xperia Z5 Premium.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy A71, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an extra GPU. Xperia Z5 Premium features an incredibly better screen than Samsung Galaxy A71, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot better pixel number per inch of display and a lot better 3840 x 2160 resolution.
The Galaxy A71 takes much clearer videos and photos than Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same camera aperture, the Galaxy A71 also has a lot higher 64 megapixels resolution camera and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Galaxy A71 counts with a way bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB and 96 GB more internal storage capacity. Galaxy A71 features superior battery performance than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 31% bigger battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the Galaxy A71 is also a lot cheaper, making it a great choice.
