Comparison review
The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a global score of 88.3, which is slightly better than Galaxy A71's 87.5 score. The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 construction is newer than Galaxy A71's, although it's heavier and much thicker. Both devices we compare here work with the same Android 11 OS (operating system). Xiaomi Black Shark 4 counts with a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A71, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Xiaomi Black Shark 4 counts with a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy A71. Both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, the same pixel density and a display of the same size. Samsung Galaxy A71 takes a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, because although it has worse video frame rate, and they both have a same size diafragm aperture and the same (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also counts with a larger back camera sensor providing a better image quality and a much higher resolution back-facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy A71 has a much bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a battery duration that is just as good as Samsung Galaxy A71's battery performance.
Although Xiaomi Black Shark 4 is a better device, it is more expensive than Galaxy A71, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy A71. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Xiaomi Black Shark 4, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy A71, giving up a couple features and specs.
