Comparison review
The Galaxy A71 has an overall score of 87.5, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 8's general score of 83.3. The Galaxy A71 is a just a little heavier device than Xiaomi Mi 8, but they have the same thickness. Both phones in this review have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A71 has newer 11 version and Xiaomi Mi 8 has Android 10, providing the user some nice extra features and performance optimizations.
Xiaomi Mi 8 features just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A71. They have a 6 GB RAM and the same number of cores. Xiaomi Mi 8 features a slightly better looking display than Galaxy A71, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2248 pixels and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher screen pixels density.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 counts with a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have the same video definition, a F1.8 aperture and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels and a way larger camera sensor which gives a much better photo and video quality.
The Galaxy A71 has a little bit better storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has only 128 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 512 GB. Galaxy A71 counts with greater battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
