Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A71 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 9T, getting an 87.5 score against 82.2. Samsung Galaxy A71's design is somewhat thinner and just a bit lighter than the Xiaomi Mi 9T, even though both of them were only released with a couple of months difference. Both devices in this comparison review include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy A71 has the newer 11 version while Xiaomi Mi 9T has Android 10, so it provides you a couple nice extra features and performance optimizations.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T has a processing unit that is very similar to the processor in Samsung Galaxy A71, they have a Octa-Core processor and the same RAM amount. Xiaomi Mi 9T counts with a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A71, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a little lower 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen.
The Galaxy A71 counts with a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 9T, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A71 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 512 GB. The Galaxy A71 has just a little better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 9T, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy A71 takes slightly better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 9T, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, the same (4K) video definition and the same aperture, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels and a bigger sensor shooting higher quality photos and videos.
