Samsung Galaxy A71 is better than Xiaomi Poco M3, getting an 87.5 score against 78.2. These phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy A71 has newer 11 version while Xiaomi Poco M3 has Android 10, so it provides you some nice extra features and some performance improvements. Despite of the fact that Samsung Galaxy A71 is older than Xiaomi Poco M3, it's design is thinner and just a bit lighter.
Galaxy A71 has a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy A71 also has more RAM memory. The Xiaomi Poco M3 and Samsung Galaxy A71 count with very similar screens, because although the Xiaomi Poco M3 has a quite lower 1080 x 2340 resolution and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little higher pixels density.
The Galaxy A71 shoots better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have the same aperture, the Galaxy A71 also has a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a larger back-facing camera sensor and a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera. Galaxy A71 counts with a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have an external SD slot that holds up to 512 GB, the Galaxy A71 also has 64 GB more internal storage.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 features longer battery performance than Galaxy A71, because it has a 6000mAh battery size instead of 4500mAh.
Although Galaxy A71 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Poco M3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Poco M3. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Galaxy A71, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Poco M3, resigning a couple specs and features.
