Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A71 is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, with a overall score of 87.5 against 79. Both of these phones have the same Android 11 OS (operating system). Samsung Galaxy A71's design is thinner and somewhat lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, even when both were released only 2 months apart.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with a screen that is just as good as the display in Galaxy A71, both of them have the same screen density, the same 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a screen of the same size. The Galaxy A71 and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S both feature extremely similar processing units, and although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has 2 GB less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
The Galaxy A71 has a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have the same diafragm aperture, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the Galaxy A71 also has a bigger back-facing camera sensor and a back facing camera with a much better 64 mega-pixels resolution.
The Galaxy A71 has a much bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 512 GB, the Galaxy A71 also has more internal memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with just a bit longer battery performance than Galaxy A71, because it has a 12% greater battery size.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a better phone for that extra money.
