Comparison review
The LG V30S ThinQ is much better than the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016), with a general score of 82.5 against 72.8. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the LG V30S ThinQ has the newer 8.0 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The LG V30S ThinQ body is newer and somewhat lighter, but just a bit thicker than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016).
LG V30S ThinQ counts with a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016), because it has a better display density, a quite bigger display and a much higher 1440 x 2880 resolution. The LG V30S ThinQ has a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A8 (2016), and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the LG V30S ThinQ also has more RAM.
LG V30S ThinQ features a superior storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy A8 (2016), because it has more internal memory and an external memory slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. LG V30S ThinQ features a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016), and although they both have a same resolution back camera, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a larger camera aperture for better photography in low light environments.
LG V30S ThinQ's battery lifetime is very similar to the battery performance in Galaxy A8 (2016).
