The Moto G9 Power has an overall score of 78.6, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016)'s general score of 72.8. Although Moto G9 Power is newer than the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016), it is somewhat heavier and notably thicker. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Moto G9 Power has an older 10 version while Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Galaxy A8 (2016) and the Moto G9 Power feature similar processors, and although the Moto G9 Power has more RAM memory, they both have 8 cores. Galaxy A8 (2016) features a brighter display than Motorola Moto G9 Power, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a higher pixel density.

The Motorola Moto G9 Power has a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy A8 (2016), because it has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 512 GB and more internal storage. Moto G9 Power has a way better battery life than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016), because it has an 82 percent greater battery size.

Moto G9 Power has a better camera than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016), and although they both have the same (Full HD) video definition, the Moto G9 Power also has a way higher resolution back-facing camera, higher video frame rates and a larger aperture for better captures and video in low-light environments.
