Samsung Galaxy A22 has a general score of 76.1, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016)'s 72.8 general score. The Samsung Galaxy A22 construction is way newer than the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016)'s, although it is just a little bit heavier and thicker. Both phones we are comparing work with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy A22 has older 12 version and Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
Galaxy A22 features a processor that is just as good as Galaxy A8 (2016)'s processor, and although the Galaxy A22 has a higher amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) features a bit better display than Galaxy A22, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1080 x 1920 resolution and more pixels per screen inch.
The Galaxy A22 has a much greater storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016), because it has 64 GB internal memory and a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB. Samsung Galaxy A22 has a bit better camera than Galaxy A8 (2016), and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy A22 also has a way higher resolution back facing camera and a bigger aperture to capture better images and videos in low light environments.
