Galaxy A31 has a global score of 81.3, which is much better than Galaxy A8 (2016)'s 72.8 general score. The Galaxy A31 body is newer, but a little bit heavier and thicker than Galaxy A8 (2016). Both devices in this comparison review work with Android OS, but Galaxy A31 has an older 10 version and Galaxy A8 (2016) has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Galaxy A31 has a processing unit that's just as good as the Galaxy A8 (2016) one, and although the Galaxy A31 has a greater amount of RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores. Samsung Galaxy A31 features a bit better display than Galaxy A8 (2016), because it has a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a little bit larger screen and a little bit more pixels per inch in the display.
The Galaxy A31 has a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016), because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for shooting photographs and video in low light environments, and they both have the same (Full HD) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Galaxy A31 also counts with a way more mega-pixels back facing camera.
