Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy A34 is much better than the Galaxy A8 (2016), getting an 82.9 score against 72.8. Samsung Galaxy A34's construction is way thinner and noticeably lighter than Galaxy A8 (2016). Both phones in this review work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy A34 has the older 13 version while Galaxy A8 (2016) has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Samsung Galaxy A34 features just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A8 (2016), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy A34 also has more RAM. Galaxy A34 has a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016), because it has a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 resolution, a just a little higher pixel count in each display inch and a bigger display.

Galaxy A8 (2016) features a greater memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A34, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 256 GB. Galaxy A34 counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016), because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.

The Galaxy A34 captures a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy A8 (2016), because it has a camera in the back with way more MP and a larger aperture to take better low light captures and video.
