Galaxy C5 has a score of 76.4, which is just a bit better than Galaxy A8 (2016)'s 72.8 general score. Both phones in this review use the same Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Galaxy C5 is a a bit thinner and a lot lighter cellphone than the Galaxy A8 (2016), although both of them were released with only 4 months difference.

The Galaxy A8 (2016) counts with just a bit better performance than Galaxy C5, although it has 1 GB less RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores. Galaxy C5 has a display that's just as good as the screen in Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016), because although the Galaxy C5 has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 1920, it also counts with a little greater pixels density.

Galaxy C5 has a greater storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy A8 (2016), because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits 128 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage.
