The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has an overall score of 83, which is better than the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016)'s 72.8 global score. Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a newer cellphone than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016), although it's thicker and a bit heavier. These devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Note8 has 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 features just a bit better performance than Galaxy A8 (2016), and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016), because it has a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 2960, a quite bigger display and a better pixels density.
