The Xperia 10 II is a little bit better than Galaxy A8 (2016), having a 78.5 score against 72.8. Xperia 10 II's construction is newer and somewhat lighter, but somewhat thicker than the Galaxy A8 (2016). Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS, but Xperia 10 II has the older 10 version and Galaxy A8 (2016) has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Xperia 10 II has a processing unit that is very similar to the processing unit in Galaxy A8 (2016), and although the Xperia 10 II has 1 GB more RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Sony Xperia 10 II features a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016), because it has a just a little better amount of pixels in each inch of display, a bit larger screen and a slightly better 1080 x 2520 resolution.
