Comparison review
Xiaomi 12 has a general score of 78.8, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016)'s general score of 72.8. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi 12 has the older 12 version and Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Xiaomi 12's construction is a lot newer and a bit lighter, but also thicker than the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016).
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) counts with a really superior performance than Xiaomi 12, although it has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Xiaomi 12 features a much better display than Galaxy A8 (2016), because it has a little larger display, a bit higher 1080 x 2400px resolution and a just a bit higher pixels quantity in each display inch.

Xiaomi 12 counts with a greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016), because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
Xiaomi 12 features improved battery lifetime than Galaxy A8 (2016), because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.
