Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016), getting a general score of 76.6 against 72.8. Both of these devices have Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has 10 version while Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is much newer than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016), it's somewhat thicker and a little heavier.
Galaxy A8 (2016) and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 count with extremely similar screens, although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a little higher 1080 x 2340 resolution, a quite larger screen and a little more pixels per screen inch. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's processor is just as good as Galaxy A8 (2016)'s processor, both of them have a Octa-Core processor and 3 GB of RAM.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a quite bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016), because although it has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 128 GB against 256 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a much better battery life than Galaxy A8 (2016), because it has a 5020mAh battery size instead of 3300mAh.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 takes much better photographs and videos than Galaxy A8 (2016), and although they both have the same video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a back facing camera with way more megapixels and a bigger camera aperture to take better low light images and video.
