The Galaxy S9 is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), getting a general score of 83.3 against 79.2. Galaxy S9 is a a little bit lighter phone than the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), but both are 0.33inches thick. Galaxy S9 has just a little better processing power than Galaxy A8 (2018). Both have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM memory.
Galaxy S9 counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy A8 (2018), because it has a better screen pixels density, a little bigger display and a better 1440 x 2960 resolution. Galaxy S9 takes better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a much worse resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a bigger aperture to take better photography and video in low light situations.
Samsung Galaxy S9 has a slightly bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy A8 (2018), and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy S9 also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 400 GB.
