Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) has a global score of 79.2, which is a bit better than Xperia Z5's general score of 77.6. Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018)'s design is notably newer, but somewhat thicker and heavier than Xperia Z5. Sony Xperia Z5 counts with a bit sharper display than Galaxy A8 (2018), although it has a bit smaller screen, a little inferior number of pixels per inch in the display and a bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution.
Xperia Z5 counts with a bit better CPU than Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia Z5 also counts with a graphics processing unit.
