Comparison review
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is just a bit better than Galaxy A8 (2018), with a 79.8 score against 79.2. Despite of the fact Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is older and just a bit heavier than the Galaxy A8 (2018), it's construction is still a little thinner. The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with just a little better performance than Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an extra GPU.
Xperia Z5 Premium has an incredibly better screen than Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a much better amount of pixels per display inch. The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) has a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has more internal memory capacity and a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a little better battery duration than Galaxy A8 (2018), because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh. Xperia Z5 Premium takes much better pictures and videos than Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for low light photos and video, it also counts with a back-facing camera with a much higher 23 megapixels resolution and a much better video quality.
