Galaxy A8 (2018) is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi A2, getting a overall score of 79.2 against 78. Despite being the best in this review, Galaxy A8 (2018)'s construction is thicker and a bit heavier than the Xiaomi Mi A2. Xiaomi Mi A2 counts with a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xiaomi Mi A2 also has more RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) features a slightly better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi A2, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch in the display and a little bit higher 1080 x 2220 pixels resolution. Xiaomi Mi A2 captures just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a camera in the back with a much lower resolution and a tinier aperture, it also counts with a lot better video quality.
Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) features a little bit better storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi A2, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB.
