The HTC One M9 is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2016), having a general score of 77.7 against 74.9. Although HTC One M9 is older and noticeably thicker than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2016), it's body is still lighter. The HTC One M9 features a better display than Galaxy A9 (2016), because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the HTC One M9 also counts with a quite higher pixel number per inch in the screen.

Galaxy A9 (2016) and HTC One M9 feature extremely similar storage for games and applications, both of them have the same 32 GB internal memory and a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB.
