Even though the Huawei P20 Pro is just a little bit thicker than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2016), it's a little bit lighter and also noticeably newer. The Huawei P20 Pro has a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2016), because it has a little bigger screen, a bit greater screen pixels density and a bit higher 1080 x 2240 resolution.

The Huawei P20 Pro features just a little better performance than Galaxy A9 (2016), and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei P20 Pro also has 3 GB more RAM memory. Huawei P20 Pro shoots way better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2016), and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same video quality, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a way more MP back facing camera and a bigger aperture.

The Huawei P20 Pro features a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy A9 (2016), because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage. The Huawei P20 Pro's battery performance is just as good as the Galaxy A9 (2016) one.
