Huawei Pocket S is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2016), getting a general score of 78.2 against 74.9. The Huawei Pocket S construction is way newer, just a little bit lighter and just a bit thinner than the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2016). Huawei Pocket S features a slightly better display than Galaxy A9 (2016), because it has a larger screen, a higher 1188 x 2790px resolution and a bit better pixel amount per inch of display.
Huawei Pocket S counts with much more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2016), because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Huawei Pocket S features a little faster processing unit than Galaxy A9 (2016), and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Pocket S also has 5 GB more RAM.
Galaxy A9 (2016) shoots much better pictures and videos than Huawei Pocket S, although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low-light captures and a lot lower 13 MP resolution camera in the back. Huawei Pocket S has a battery performance that is just as good as the Galaxy A9 (2016) one.
