Comparison review
The Galaxy A40 is just a bit better than Galaxy A9 (2016), getting a 79.6 score against 74.9. The Galaxy A40 construction is extremely newer and much lighter than Galaxy A9 (2016)'s, although it's also a little bit thicker. Galaxy A40 counts with a processing unit that is just as good as Galaxy A9 (2016)'s processing unit, and although the Galaxy A40 has more RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Samsung Galaxy A40 counts with a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2016), because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per display inch and a slightly better 1080 x 2340px resolution. Galaxy A40's camera is just as good as Galaxy A9 (2016)'s camera, and although the Galaxy A40 has a better resolution camera and a bigger camera aperture to take better captures and video in low-light environments, they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates.
The Galaxy A40 counts with a superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2016), because it has a SD card slot that supports up to 512 GB and more internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy A9 (2016) has superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3100mAh.
