Galaxy Note5 is just a bit better than the Galaxy A9 (2016), having a global score of 80.2 against 74.9. Even though Galaxy Note5 and the Galaxy A9 (2016) were released with only 4 months difference, Galaxy Note5's design is just a little thicker but somewhat lighter than the Galaxy A9 (2016). Samsung Galaxy Note5 counts with a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2016), and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy Note5 also has 1 GB more RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Note5 features a better screen than Galaxy A9 (2016), because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a higher pixels density. The Galaxy A9 (2016) has just a bit more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note5, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits up to 128 GB.
Galaxy A9 (2016) features longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
