Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a global score of 75.8, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2016)'s 74.9 score. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's construction is newer and just a little lighter, but a bit thicker than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2016).
