Galaxy A9 (2018) is a bit better than Huawei P20 Pro, getting an 85.2 score against 81.4. The Galaxy A9 (2018) construction has the same thickness than the Huawei P20 Pro, but it's just a bit heavier. Huawei P20 Pro counts with a little faster processor than Galaxy A9 (2018). Both have a 6 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Huawei P20 Pro features a little sharper screen than Galaxy A9 (2018), because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a quite higher pixel density and a bit higher 1080 x 2240 resolution. The Galaxy A9 (2018) has a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Galaxy A9 (2018) also has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
The Huawei P20 Pro features a bit longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), because it has a 5% larger battery capacity. The Huawei P20 Pro features a much better camera than Galaxy A9 (2018), because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for capturing photos or videos in low light environments, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Huawei P20 Pro also counts with a lot bigger camera sensor capturing way higher quality photos and videos and a back-facing camera with way more MP.
