Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is just a bit better than Galaxy Note8, getting an 85.2 score against 83. Galaxy Note8 has a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018). Both of them have a Octa-Core CPU and a 6 GB RAM.

Galaxy A9 (2018) has a little better battery life than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 15 percent bigger battery size. Galaxy A9 (2018) shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor offering a worse image quality, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the same (4K) video resolution and a same size diafragm aperture, the Galaxy A9 (2018) also counts with a much better resolution camera in the back.
