LG G8 ThinQ is much better than the Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), getting a general score of 84.3 against 74.4. The LG G8 ThinQ is a noticeably newer and extremely lighter cellphone than Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), but it is a bit thicker. These devices have Android OS (operating system), but LG G8 ThinQ has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) has Android 8.0 Oreo.

LG G8 ThinQ has an incredibly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), because it has a quite bigger screen, much more pixels per inch of display and a much better 1440 x 3120 resolution. The LG G8 ThinQ has a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), and although they both have 8 processing cores, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a larger amount of RAM.

LG G8 ThinQ has much more storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), because it has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB and 96 GB more internal storage. Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) counts with a superior battery lifetime than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 43% bigger battery size.

The LG G8 ThinQ shoots much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), because although it has a way worse resolution camera, it also counts with a way larger diafragm aperture to take better images and videos in poorly lited environments and a bigger back camera sensor providing a better image quality.
