Both phones in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G has the older 10 version and Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) has Android 8.0 Oreo version. The OnePlus 7 Pro 5G body is incredibly newer and just a little lighter, but thicker than the Galaxy A9 Pro (2016).
OnePlus 7 Pro 5G has a better looking display than Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), because it has a much higher 1440 x 3120 resolution, a greater screen density and a bit bigger display. OnePlus 7 Pro 5G counts with just a bit better processing power than Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G also has 8 GB more RAM.
The OnePlus 7 Pro 5G shoots greater photographs and videos than Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), because it has a larger aperture to capture better images and videos in poorly lited situations, a back-facing camera with way more megapixels and a lot larger sensor shooting way higher quality videos and photos.
OnePlus 7 Pro 5G has a much bigger memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) features greater battery lifetime than OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, because it has a 25% larger battery size.
