Samsung Galaxy Note3 is a little bit better than Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), having a score of 77.7 against 74.4. Both phones in this review include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note3 has the older 4.4.2 version and Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) has Android 8.0 Oreo. Samsung Galaxy Note3 is a noticeably older and just a bit thicker cellphone than the Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), but Samsung was able to build it somewhat lighter anyway.
The Samsung Galaxy Note3 counts with a bit superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), although it has lesser RAM memory and a lower number of cores (but faster). Galaxy Note3 counts with a bit better screen than Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Galaxy Note3 also counts with a quite higher screen density.
Galaxy Note3 has a little bit better storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), because although it has a SD extension slot that holds 192 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Note3 features a greater camera than Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), although it has a smaller sensor capturing less light and dull colors, a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for capturing images in low-light situations and a less megapixels resolution back camera.
Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) features a very superior battery life than Galaxy Note3, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
