The Sony Xperia 1 has a score of 82.6, which is better than the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016)'s overall score of 74.4. Although Sony Xperia 1 is just a little thicker than the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), it's somewhat lighter and a lot newer. Sony Xperia 1 features a much sharper display than Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), because it has a way higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels, a little larger screen and a lot better quantity of pixels per display inch.

The Sony Xperia 1 features much more memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), because it has 128 GB internal storage and a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB.

The Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) features a much better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 1, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity. The Xperia 1 has a lot better camera than Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), because although it has a camera in the back with a way worse resolution, it also counts with a larger sensor providing a better image quality and a bigger camera aperture to take better low-light photos and videos.
