Comparison review
The Apple iPhone 8 Plus has a global score of 87.1, which is much better than Galaxy Alpha's 76.3 overall score. Despite being the best in this comparison, the Apple iPhone 8 Plus construction is somewhat thicker and extremely heavier than the Galaxy Alpha. The iPhone 8 Plus has a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a way better resolution of 1080 x 1920px, a higher pixel number per inch of screen and a bigger display.
The iPhone 8 Plus features a much bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 224 GB more internal storage capacity. The Apple iPhone 8 Plus features a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM, a larger number of cores (but slower) and a 64-bits processor.
IPhone 8 Plus counts with a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same resolution back facing camera and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the iPhone 8 Plus also has a larger camera aperture and faster video frame rate. The iPhone 8 Plus has a very superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 45% greater battery capacity.
Although iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Alpha, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Alpha. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Galaxy Alpha, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most with your budget.
