Comparison review
Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design is just a bit better than Galaxy Alpha, having a global score of 80.1 against 76.3. The Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design body is way heavier and somewhat thicker than Galaxy Alpha. Both phones in this comparison have Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4 version, so it gives some nice extra features and better performance.
Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a slightly better screen than Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design, although it has a really smaller display, a bit inferior pixel quantity in each inch of display and a way worse 1280 x 720 resolution. Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design has a much better storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity.
Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design's CPU is just as good as Samsung Galaxy Alpha's processing unit, because although the Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with 4 GB more RAM and a greater number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a better camera than Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design, although it has a much smaller camera aperture which is worse for taking photos and videos in low light environments, they both have a same resolution back camera, the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rates.
Although Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, letting go some specifications.
