Comparison review
Huawei Mate X has a general score of 89.4, which is better than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha's 76.3 overall score. Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but Huawei Mate X has 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4, so it provides you lots of additional features and performance improvements. The Huawei Mate X design is notably heavier and thicker than Samsung Galaxy Alpha.
Samsung Galaxy Alpha features just a bit better display than Huawei Mate X, although it has a much smaller display, a bit worse pixel density and a lot lower 1280 x 720 resolution. Huawei Mate X counts with a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 512 GB internal memory capacity.
The Huawei Mate X has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Alpha, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a higher number of cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. The Huawei Mate X features a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 1860mAh.
Samsung Galaxy Alpha shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Huawei Mate X, although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for low light photography and video and a lot lower 12 MP resolution back-facing camera.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Alpha. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, letting go a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
