LG G8 ThinQ is better than the Galaxy Alpha, with a score of 84.3 against 76.3. Even being the best phone in our current comparison, LG G8 ThinQ is a a lot thicker and incredibly heavier phone than Galaxy Alpha. These devices have Android operating system, but the LG G8 ThinQ has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4 version, so it counts with a lot of extra features and improved performance.

The LG G8 ThinQ counts with just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Alpha, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM and more cores. LG G8 ThinQ features a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a larger display, a much better 1440 x 3120 resolution and a lot greater count of pixels per inch in the screen.

The LG G8 ThinQ takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same resolution back-facing camera, the LG G8 ThinQ also has higher 60 fps video frame rates and a much larger diafragm aperture. The LG G8 ThinQ features a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has an external SD slot that supports up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal storage capacity.

LG G8 ThinQ features a superior battery life than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity instead of 1860mAh.
